Ceramic Coating for Vehicles: Preserving The New Car Look

Introduction to Ceramic Coating: A Modern Marvel for Your Car

Have you ever wondered how some cars maintain their showroom shine and “like new” appearance? The secret lies in a revolutionary product known as ceramic coating. This article covers the basics of ceramic coating, revealing its benefits, what it’s made of, and the application process.

What is Ceramic Coating?

There are several types of ceramic coatings.

Generally speaking, ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds with your vehicle’s paint. It’s often harder and slicker than your paint, and so, it acts as a layer of protection. Unlike traditional waxes, it offers a LONG-TERM solution to protect your car against various elements.

Key Features:

Remarkable Durability: Once applied, it forms a permanent bond with the paint.

Exceptional Protection: Shields against UV rays, bug splatter, chemical stains, and etching.

Enhanced Gloss: Amplifies the depth and clarity of your car’s paint.

What Are Ceramic Coatings Made Of?

Most ceramic coatings consist of Silicon Dioxide (SiO2), derived from natural materials like quartz and sand. When applied, it cures to form a nano-ceramic shield, offering a robust, yet flexible, protective layer.

The types of ceramic coatings:

  • SiC (Silicon Carbide) Coatings
  • TiO2 (Titanium Dioxide) Coatings
  • Hybrid Coatings
  • Graphene Coatings
  • 9H Ceramic Coatings
  • DIY Ceramic Coatings
  • Professional-Grade Ceramic Coatings
  • Ceramic Wax Products

Application Process: Precision Matters

Professional application is crucial for maximum effectiveness. The process involves thorough cleaning, decontamination, and paint correction before the coating is meticulously applied. This ensures a flawless finish and optimal bonding.

What Is Paint Protection Film (PPF) or Clear Bra?

Kavaca paint protection film is thermoplastic urethane  ( TPU) self-healing film applied to painted surfaces of a new or used car in order to protect the paint from stone chips, bug splatters, and minor abrasions. This film can be used on airplanes, RVs, cell phones, electronics, screens, motorcycles, nearly any smooth, no-porous surface that you want to protect from nicks, scratches and chips.

Kavaca PPF (Kavaca means Armor) is specifically designed to protect painted surfaces from abrasion, corrosion, chemicals, stone chips, and other types of physical damage.

Within the Kavaca line, we offer two customizable types of paint protection film:

  1. Ceramic Coated/Self Healing PPF
